The Drawing Board
Is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team.
Can someone find me a sharp witted, food loving, personality having, passionate workaholic please?!! and for the love of God, let them have a sense of humour and let them tell their own faces!
For the award winning DB its year 6 and we’re looking for future Managers in the making. We want an experienced Manager to join us. We’re amassing a small Independent army to slowly take over the Midlands (obviously)
Okay so the globe has had a rather horrific experience through this pandemic & amongst the worst sufferers it’s us in hospitality that have had a pretty hefty kick in the ghoulies. We’ve held off opening for as long as we possibly could but it’s full steam ahead as we head towards October 5th.
As an Assistant Manager you are a key member of the management team and will be expected to support the other managers as the ‘right hand’ person in all aspects of sharing responsibility for the day to day running of the pub. You will also assume responsibility for the pub when the manager is not on the premises with the help of the rest of the management team.
You’ll need to be a real foodie; have a real passion for decent beer and wine; enjoy looking after others and help build and direct a happy crew. The role will therefore be very hands-on and pretty varied encompassing people management, food and drink, customer service, pub maintenance and day to day financial administration. This is a 24/7 full on front of house, customer facing, people loving cabaret!
At the end of the day the most important quality we look for in all our people is strength of personality. We like fun characters who set the bar high and have an eye for detail.
We’ll reward you with a cracking salary plus tips. If this sounds like your cup of tea/glass of wine/pint of beer get in touch via email – send us a copy of your CV & a bit of a nattery type cover letter…
The Drawing Board was established in 2015. It is an independent Free House in Leamington Spa- apparently the happiest place to live in the country (I have my doubts but who am I to argue?) we won The Great British Pub Awards Best Beer Pub in 2019 which we’re still harping on about amongst other various prestigious gongs over the last few years.
