We only went and won The Great British Pub awards 2019 ‘Best Beer Pub’ category!
We were in such esteemed company that we had completely forgotten we were actually in with a chance of winning the damn thing. When they called our name we absolutely fell off our chairs! We are so proud to be awarded this gong – thanks to all the staff who test every beer very carefully before pouring & thanks to all our lovely indie loving punters too!

We’ve been offering a separate Vegan & Gluten free menu for a while but we haven’t actually put it online, so in a January 2019 resolution type effort – here they are.
We gone and done a cider with local cider maker Hogans. Core Values is a collaboration dry scrumpy cider at 4.7%. You can only find it in The DB on draft. We’re honoured because these guys really know their apples and work with Tiny Rebel & Northern Monk as well as producing their own awesome appley goodness!
The Leamington Business Awards 2018 have voted us Best Indie Business of 2018. In a star studded gala evening we were gobsmacked to have won another award from The LBA, last year we won Best New Business. Being an Indie means the world to us so we are absolutely made up about this, so thank you!

In a fit of jumping on the bandwagon we invite you to our compulsory street party, The Newbold Pitstop on Friday 15th June. To celebrate the fact that we have an enforced road closure for The Women’s Tour Of Britain cycling race we thought a few bands, local street food vendors & licensed offerings might take the edge off the light drizzle that will no doubt be leaking onto our noses… failing that we can have a couple in the pub.
On Sunday 11th March it’s that wonderful day of celebrating the love we have for our mums! Here’s mine! She’s a cracker!
We’ll be offering sittings throughout the day featuring our set two or three course menu, cunningly hidden below. It’s a busy old day so get your bookings in pronto, we won’t be running a waiting list that day!
